Colorado River Guides is looking for experienced and first year raft & fishing guides for the 2008 season.

We are looking for people who love the river, the mountains & the outdoors. Our guides look forward to sharing this beautiful environment with locals & visitors. This job can be incredibly rewarding.

Guides will be required to have a minimum of standard first aid, CPR, have the documented training or experience necessary to meet Colorado state requirements. Guides must be at least 18 years old.

Colorado River Guides will be holding a guide training course May 17 - May 23, 2008. This course will meet all on-water requirements to be a certified guide in the state of Colorado, including boat handling, rigging, reading water, basic rescue procedures, etc. The cost for this course is $300. Completion of this course will certify you as a guide in the state of Colorado, but does not guarantee you a job with Colorado River Guides. We will only train a few folks and will be hiring our first year guides from this course. Employees who complete the course and work through 8/15, will be refunded the full $300. This is a fun, intensive, hands-on learning experience.
